Map has serious omissions: Fort La Baye at Green Bay, Wisconsin; first location of Michilimackinac at St. Ignace, Upper Peninsula of Michigan; Fort St. Joseph, Niles, Michigan; Fort Miami, Fort Wayne, Indiana; and the earlier, short-lived Fort Miami on Lake Michigan. The map below calls the St. Ignace location of MIchilimackinac Fort de Buade although only Lamothe Cadillac used this name for it in one of his memoirs but the name does not ever appear in the Colonial Correspondence.
